Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a key term that is transforming human lives in multiple ways. RPA eradicates the need to perform monotonous tasks. Robots are now in every domain they are cleaning homes, sanitizing, making burgers and are even assisting medical professionals with the surgeries.
The robot-human collaboration is opening new avenues for humans. 4ocean has collaborated with polaru marine for the development of BeBot, the beach cleaning robot. Polaru marine offers consulting, design and engineering services.
BeBot, the beach cleaning robot can collect and clear all the waste materials that are present on the beach. At present this robot is cleaning the debris at the beaches of South Florida.
BeBot can steer up the cleaning game. This technologically advanced robot can clear 32,000 square feet of beach within a single hour. Compared to human cleaning assistants this speed is remarkable.
Newly devised robot is built with the sole purpose of keeping the environment clean. Later this cleaning robot will be deployed to beached in Hawaii and other parts of the United States.
The cleaning robot is not based on autonomous technology, it needs a human assistant to function properly. Robot will be powered by the social energy it does not require any type of electrical energy for restoring its battery life.
According to Freethink, BeBot can also tow up to 900 pounds once its sifter is detached, which could be useful for moving beach chairs, jet skis, and other heavy objects. It also has a rake accessory that can be used to level sand or move seaweed and algae.
BeBot has a major disadvantage: it can pick rocks, shells and other materials from the seashore. The debris collected by Bebot first needs to be manually segregated to separate debris from seashells. Other than one disadvantage this robot has numerous advantages.

Cleaning robots are taking over the redundant job of mopping floors, and collecting waste. The cleaning robot market is expected to hit 24.8 billion by the end of 2026. Big companies like Toyota, are diving into the cleaning robot business line. Both personal and professional cleaning robots are gaining widespread popularity. iRobot’s Roomba 900 series robot can clean the entire floor with a single button touch, Toyota’s cleaning robot can clean all types of surfaces. Cleaning robot industry is expansive with massive future potential.
