Check Point Software Technologies acquires Avanan

Check Point Software Technologies., an American Israeli multinational provider that supports a range of software and hardware products, and services for information technology security all over the world.

 

Check Point's products and services include that of firewall and VPN security gateways and appliances. Its products offer protection for network perimeter that allows the authorized users to gain access to network resources and to identify and thwart attacks.

 

Acquisition 

 

Apart from acquiring 16 other organizations which include that of Odo Security (16th September, 2020), Protego Labs (2nd December, 2019), it has recently made an acquisition of Avanan, the fastest emerging cloud email security company on 30th August, 2021.

 

Avanan, a New York-based company, was established by Gil Friedrich, Michael Landewe, and Roy Rotem in 2014.
