One such application that caters to every individual’s artistic, travelling and photography needs is Pinterest. Pinterest is the abode for a zillion new ideas that help creators and individuals to take their hobbies to the next level.
Pinterest that is now trusted by over 478 million users worldwide was created by the trio of Ben Silbermann, Paul Sciarra, and Evan Sharp in the year 2009.
While applications like, Houzzlike Houzz, Tastemade and Instagram constantly kept providing new updates to their existing users.
Pinterest’s new updates couldn’t hold its existing user base owing to this the company reported a net loss of $128 million in the 4th quarter of 2021.

Now, Pinterest has introduced the LiveStream option to help its users connect with creators live. The users can join the LiveStream directly from the mobile application they can share their opinions via the chat section of LiveStream.
The Live Stream will allow 5 guests and unlimited number of viewers at a particular time.
The stream will have moderators to ensure better live streaming experience. The moderators will also keep a close eye at the comment section. As of now the viewers will only get the option to comment, later the developers may extend the features to enable the viewers to make direct purchases.
Pinterest will also hold a three day virtual event to unravel this new feature. The virtual event will have the top creators namely Rebecca Minkoff, Jonathan Van Ness and several others who will use this new feature to connect with their audiences. The event will go live on the Pinterest application.
According to TechCrunch David Temple, Pinterest's head of creators said,”As a visual platform, people discover billions of ideas on Pinterest every day, and we’re always looking for new ways to help bring those ideas to life.”
Temple notes Pinterest has integrated with third-party livestreaming technologies and built its own in-house messaging systems to power live interact
