Smart Home IoT Management Platform launched by CMI

Introduction

 

China Mobile International i.e CMI provides  a full-widened horizon of international telecommunication services and high-quality cloud computing solutions. Headquartered in Hong Kong, China, CMI has extended its spectrum in 37 countries and other regions.

 

CMI has developed an open IoT platform. IoT Or the Internet of things refers to the network of physical objects and so, the term ‘things’ is used. These things are invoked with sensors, software, and all other technologies----technologies that are employed for the sole intention of connecting and exchanging data with other devices and various systems all over the Internet. 

 

The Launch

 

The IoT platform is developed in order to fuse the smart home ecosystem, specially for telecos, device makers, and retail brands in Europe.

Software as a Service i.e. SaaS is a software distribution model where a cloud provider hosts applications and since it is centrally located, it makes them available to end-users all over the Internet. 

 

It provides us with such opportunities as object models, firmware and also possesses many cloud capabilities such as simulation debugging, message queues and much more. RINGA also supports third-party voice platforms.
