World’s First Physical NFT Gallery now open in Chicago

The NFT and cryptocurrency craze is taking the world one step closer to digital art. Social media tweets, videos and audio recordings are now making people millionaires. The world of digital art is moving forward at a fast pace. Every artist is now looking forward to converting their physical artworks into digital assets.

 

ImnotArt is a collaboration between artists and programmers that empowers artists that are keen on the exploration of digital art space. The collaboration is working to develop a marketplace that promotes creators and their collections. 

 

ImnotArt, the Chicago based group, has opened the world's first NFT gallery. Everything in the NFT gallery is the physical representation of Ethereum based Non-Fungible token. The NFTs on display can be purchased online.

 

The gallery can be physically visited in Chicago. It is also open for virtual tours and online exhibitions. The gallery is the most informative space to learn about NFTs. Currently the gallery exhibits 300 artists spanning across the 7 continents.

 

The Virtual Gallery is another space created by imnotArt to empower the digital artists. The Virtual Gallery uses Ethereum based metaverse called crypto voxels. The Chicago gallery is also hosted in the virtual gallery in metaverse.

 

The new gallery is open for exploration and anybody who is a crypto enthusiast, nft collector, or inquisitive learner can visit the gallery to learn more about this new technology and to witness the evolution of physical art into digital form.

It features 12 NFTs in three different orientations. The digital artworks are displayed on Blackdove Digital Canvases that provide high quality with its cutting edge features and integrations. 

 

As reported by CHICAGOINNO Schapiro, a member of imnotArt said, "NFTs are going to be a fundamental, game-changing technology in terms of how assets are bought and sold in the future," Schapiro said. "Art NFTs are the evolution of how the traditional art world is working."

 

One major advantage of digital art is that artists receive a part proceeds from sale everytime the digital artwork changes hands. The group has not made any financial gains from the NFTs that were sold so far although they are looking forward to launching new pieces in order to make commission from sales.

 

NFTs are digital assets. It can be a meme,  a digital art, or even a video. The NFTs cannot be copied or reproduced in any form. The owner of NFT holds the sole right to sell digital assets.
