Y Combinator Welcomes Startups for Summer Batch-2020 by Online Events title banner

An American seed accelerator “Y Combinator” is taking its summer 2020 batch online only for startups, due to the restrictions that will be expected in continuation in the terms with coronavirus pandemic.

 

The summer events are likely to be organized from June to August 2020, so Y Combinator encourages startups to submit their applications as registrations end up on March 16, 2020, in the US time zones.  

 

During the release, the company stated that the startups can enroll later as well but the possibilities of getting selected would be less. The contenders will be welcomed to meet delegates of Y Combinator, instead, the program is still to decide on the meeting-details.

 

Usually, the 11-month program duration, Y Combinator will arrange a trial event for the startup to experiment with their goods in front of a live audience and invest in many startups.

 

Y Combinator funded almost 2K startups since it has initiated its programs in 2005 and added values in its portfolio to $100Bn. Its portfolio covers Airbnb, Meesho, Razorpay, Cleartax, Coinbase, Dropbox and more.

 

All to do, startups need to make a parent company in the US or the Cayman Islands to take part in the Y Combinator accelerator programs. It not only supports seed-stage enterprises but also guides them to calibrate their businesses.  

 

Recently, Y Combinator is planning to arrange the trial event doe its winter batch 2020 that considers 28 Indian startups. Its trial event is scheduled on March 23 digitally due to coronavirus outbreak

 

The notable accelerator announces, “ As we will not entertain every perspective of the trial event but try our best to make an excellent exposure for our patrons and investors.”
